As usual, our Social Events Chairperson, Diane McAlpine out did herself again!  What a wonderful event we had on January 31, 2026!

 

Everyone had a wonderful time and Chili was outstanding!  And the desserts that folks brought were unbelievably delicious!  Wow!  We always have the most fun when we get together for these events!  So sorry if you missed it this year!

And here he is! Roy Scott, our 1st place winner and he was so Proud and Excited when he was announced as the 1st Place Winner!

For those who are new to our community, we wanted to make you aware that we have some coyotes that roam the neighborhood. We also, occasionally, have a hawk that comes to visit. Please keep this in mind if you have small animals. Enjoy our beautiful community and all who call it home!

 If you live on the Ocean-Side of Treasure Island and are building a new home and plan adding a driveway or if remodeling a home and plan adding a driveway or a structure under your home, you need to contact Brazoria County for permits before beginning construction. The GLO has oversight over this process and reviews and comments on all permit applications, but they do not issue the permits.

 

These same numbers below apply to both the Ocean-side and the Bayside.  Bayside just does not have to deal with GLO as much as the Ocean-side.  However, if putting pilings in the water there is a faction of GLO that Bayside needs to contact.

Both Oceanside and Bayside need to request building permits for both Brazoria County and the Civic Association.  Once you have all the required permits from the County, you then give Civic copies of all paperwork plus the Civic permit for approval.
